Tattoo Refusal Policy
At Peace Machine Tattoo, we prioritize the well-being of our clients and the quality of our work. As such, we reserve the right to refuse service to:
• Anyone who is pregnant, may be pregnant, or is actively nursing.
• Anyone who is sick or suspects they may be ill.
• Anyone who arrives without proper identification.
• Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Anyone requesting a tattoo that we deem inappropriate, unsafe, or likely to heal poorly.
• Anyone under the age of 25 seeking tattoos on their hands, fingers, or neck.
• Anyone who arrives for their tattoo appointment with a child under the age of 16.
Touch-Up Policy
You are entitled to one free touch-up within 6 months of your appointment date for work completed by me.
Any touch-ups done after the 6 months will require a $50 setup fee. Prices are subject to change depending on the severity of the touch-up.
Failure to attend your touch-up appointment will result in a $50 setup fee, which must be paid upon rescheduling your new appointment.
Free touch-ups will no longer be offered for finger tattoos.
Can I use numbing cream?
Yes. You can use numbing cream; however, there are a few things to keep in mind:
You must ask your artist’s advice BEFORE buying or using the numbing cream. Ideally, you would inquire about this during the booking process.
Numbing cream can have many effects during and after the tattoo, including (but not limited to):
Blistering | Bruising | Rash | Irritation | Burning | Discolouration of the skin | Redness | Swelling at the application site
Furthermore, numbing cream can affect the saturation of the ink when applying the ink to the skin; it can cause the ink to reject during the tattooing process, as well as cause discolouration of the tattoo while healing.
Numbing cream needs to be applied at least 1 hour before the tattooing process.
Please advise your artist if you have used numbing cream or wish to use numbing cream.
We reserve the right to refuse service:
• For any issues related to numbing cream use
• If you show up to your appointment with numbing cream applied and haven't told your artist
• If you use a numbing cream that was not recommended by your artist
